Terms of service

Last updated August 2026 · These terms apply to all sessions provided by Find Tranquility. They're explained on our discovery call and confirmed to you in writing before you pay anything.

1. Who I am, and what I do

Find Tranquility is the independent holistic therapy practice of Parveen Dodia, a certified Aafiyah Healing practitioner. Parveen is based in the United Kingdom and all sessions are delivered online by video call, to clients internationally.

Parveen is not a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, counsellor, physiotherapist or registered health professional, and does not hold herself out as one. Aafiyah Healing is a complementary holistic therapy. It does not diagnose, prescribe for, treat, prevent or cure any disease or condition, and it is never a replacement for medical or mental health care.

Nothing in a session should be taken as medical advice. Please continue with any treatment prescribed for you, and speak to your doctor about any health concern. Never stop or reduce prescribed medication on the basis of anything discussed here.

2. Who I work with

Find Tranquility is an adult practice. Sessions are offered to female clients aged 18 and over.

You stay fully clothed throughout. Most of the work requires no physical contact at all, and in line with Aafiyah Healing protocol no physical contact is made with non-Mahrams. Where any contact would be appropriate, I will ask first, and you may decline without giving a reason.

I may decline or pause work where I believe another form of support would serve you better, or where the work would not be safe or appropriate. If that happens, I'll tell you plainly and point you towards a more suitable route. The full list of what I do and don't work with is set out on the scope of practice page and forms part of these terms.

In particular, I do not work with suicidal thoughts or self-harm, a mental health crisis or a diagnosis needing clinical care, PTSD or trauma needing specialist support, a physical symptom not yet seen by a doctor, a situation where a child or vulnerable adult may be at risk, or domestic abuse where immediate safety is the concern. In any of these cases I will signpost rather than take a booking.

3. Booking

Every client begins with a free discovery call of around twenty minutes. There is no obligation and nothing is charged for it.

Sessions are booked on that call rather than through an online checkout. During the call I will state the fee, when payment is due and the cancellation terms, and ask you to confirm you're happy with them. Afterwards, I'll send you a written confirmation setting out the session date and time, the fee, the payment deadline and the cancellation terms, so you have a record of what was agreed.

Once your session is scheduled, I'll send you a client intake form. Completing it before we meet allows me to prepare properly.

4. Fees

  • First session, up to 90 minutes — £99 GBP
  • Follow-up session, up to 60 minutes — £99 GBP
  • Block of three sessions — £240 GBP, to be used within six months of purchase

Fees are stated in pounds sterling (GBP). Any currency conversion or transfer charges are yours to cover. The block of three is offered as a convenience for clients who already know they wish to continue; single sessions remain available at all times and you are never required to buy a block.

Where I suggest a minimum of three sessions, that is clinical guidance about how this work tends to settle. It is not a sales condition and carries no obligation.

5. Payment

Payment is by bank transfer, and is due at least 48 hours before your session. Bank details are provided in your written confirmation.

If payment has not been received 48 hours before the session, the booking may be released so the slot can be offered to another client. I will normally contact you before doing so.

6. Rescheduling and cancellation

  • With 24 hours' notice or more, your session can be rescheduled at no charge.
  • With less than 24 hours' notice, a £20 surcharge applies to your next booking.
  • Blocks of three sessions expire six months from the date of purchase.

If I need to cancel or reschedule, I'll give you as much notice as I can and offer you an alternative time.

7. Discretion

All of the terms above sit at my discretion. They exist so the practice remains viable, not to catch anyone out. Illness, bereavement, family emergencies and the ordinary unpredictability of life are looked at on their own merits. If something comes up, please just tell me.

8. What I ask of you

  • Tell me honestly about your health, including anything you're being treated for and any medication you take.
  • Let me know if your circumstances change between sessions.
  • Be on time. Sessions that start late will still end at the scheduled time.
  • For video sessions, find a private space with a stable connection where you can stand and move, making sure you are hands-free.
  • Do the self-care we agree, as far as you're able. It's a real part of the work.

9. Recordings and confidentiality

Sessions are not recorded, and I ask that you do not record them either. What's shared in a session is confidential.

There are narrow exceptions where I may need to share information without your consent: where I believe there is a serious risk to your life or to someone else's, where a child or vulnerable adult may be at risk of harm, or where I am required to disclose by law. Where it's safe and appropriate to do so, I'll tell you first.

10. Between sessions

You're welcome to contact me between sessions with updates or questions, and I'll reply when I can. I'm not able to offer crisis or out-of-hours support, and time zones mean I may not see a message quickly. If you need urgent help, contact your doctor or your local emergency service.

11. Liability

You remain responsible for your own health decisions and for continuing any medical or psychological care you're receiving. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The terms that apply to your session are the ones set out in your written booking confirmation.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

14. Getting in touch

For anything about these terms, email hello@find-tranquility.co.uk. If something hasn't gone as it should, please tell me directly — I'd rather hear it and put it right.
